Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV programs. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US which they received asylum. She is a middle-sister of two sisters and was raised in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television scene through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for top actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. She was the character Chiara. She has appeared in television shows like How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. In recent times, she was in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot. Ghanizada began her career in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic healing.
