Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV programs. She is an American actor from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth, her family moved to the US. They were granted asylum in the US and permitted to stay. Her parents raised her sisters who resided in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on TV by playing in a number of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for the Best Actress award at one of the film festivals. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that aired on prime time television. as she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care during the show's second season. Ghanizada was a part of Kelly who was the Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage during 2009.
