Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her family was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Ghanizada started her TV career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an honorary award for the role in Chiara, the main character of Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Her television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, Ghanizada played in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot.
