Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television series. She is an Afghan American actress who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth her family, they moved into in the US. They were given asylum in the US and permitted to stay. Her sister in law took care of her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in a variety of National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role of Chiara the performance of which she received a film festival best actress nomination. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently played an supporting role in Blood Shot (2009). In addition, she appeared as an independent comic on You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was cast in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was broadcast on prime-time TV. Season 2 of General Hospital called Night Shift Ghanizada was the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada was a part of Kelly, an actress on Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage during 2009 and was also part of the TV pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
