Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. The family she was born into fled Afghanistan, and sought asylum in the US. The actress was born in the US. The middle sister of her mother took care of her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada got her start in the field of TV by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in Laura Neri's film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For her performance, she won during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. She has appeared in television programs like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. She most recently played as a character supporting for the film Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an uninvolved comedian for You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was cast in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was telecast on primetime television. In the second season of Nightshift, she was holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
