Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. Family members fled from Afghanistan and sought asylum in the US. Her birthplace was in the US. She is the middle daughter with two brothers and sisters, and was born to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television with a role in National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of the performance, she received a nomination in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. She has appeared in television shows like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she was in the science fiction-action film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
