Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. Her family was from Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Her middle sister took care of her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. She was honored with an honorary award for the role of Chiara, who played the central character of Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she had the role of a support actress in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 as a cast part of General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. Night Shift season 2 as Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine.
