Azita Ghanizada
Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents fled to the US which they received asylum. The middle sister of her mother took care of her within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance in the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for the Best Actress award at one of the film festivals. She has appeared in television programs like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. The most recent role she has played is the role of a supporting character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008 as a cast member of General Hospital's Primetime spinoff General Hospital. as Dr. Saira Bhata, an specialist in holistic health in the second season of Night Shift.
