Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved towards the US. They were granted asylum and allowed to stay. Her sister in law raised her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an honorary award for the role in Chiara, who played the central character of Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Some of her television roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. In the past, she was an supporting role for the film Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she was a part of the cast for The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic healing. Ghanizada played Kelly who was the Prada character on HBO's Entourage.
