Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and were granted refugee status to remain. The middle sister of her mother was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by appearing in several National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the best actress at the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she performed the role of Chiara. She was also an actor in a variety of television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently played as a character supporting in Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comic on You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 when she was cast actor on General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor Doctor. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
